Connecting Swell
Connect your Swell store to TGC by entering your Store ID and API key.
Find your Swell credentials
Log into your Swell admin dashboard
Go to Developer → API keys
Copy your Store ID (shown at the top of the page)
Copy or create a Public API key
⚠️ Important: Use a public key, not a secret key. Public keys are safe for frontend code and start with
pk_.
Enter your credentials in TGC
Open your Framer project
Click the TGC plugin icon in the plugins panel
Enter your Store ID
Enter your Public API key
Click Connect
TGC will validate your credentials against Swell. If successful, you'll see the sync options appear.
Connection errors
Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
Invalid Store ID | Store ID doesn't exist or is misspelled | Double-check the ID in your Swell dashboard |
Invalid API key | Key is incorrect, expired, or is a secret key | Use a public key starting with |
Network error | Connection issue | Check your internet and try again |
