Re-syncing
Update your Framer CMS with the latest Swell data. Re-sync when you've made changes in Swell that affect your design.
When to re-sync
Re-sync when you've changed:
Product titles or descriptions
Product images
Categories (added, removed, or renamed)
Added new products
Deleted products
No re-sync needed for:
Price changes (live site fetches current prices)
Inventory updates (live site checks stock)
Sale/discount changes (live site reflects these)

How to re-sync
Open the TGC plugin in Framer
Go to the Sync tab
Review your category selection (adjust if needed)
Click Sync selected
Wait for the sync to complete
What happens during re-sync
Scenario | Result |

Product exists in both | Updated with latest Swell data |
New product in Swell | Added to Framer CMS |
Product deleted in Swell | Removed from Framer CMS |
Product no longer in selected categories | Removed from Framer CMS |
Sync progress
During sync, you'll see:
Don't close the plugin while syncing.
Sync errors
If some products fail to sync:
TGC shows which products failed and why
Successfully synced products are still saved
Failed products retain their previous CMS data
Try syncing again after fixing the issue in Swell
Partial sync vs full sync
Currently, TGC always does a full sync of your selected categories. There's no option for partial sync.
This ensures your CMS stays consistent with Swell.
